Jacqueline Peperkamp - Artistic Director Born on the Melanesian Islands of Eastern Papua New Guinea (PNG). Jacqueline began her lifelong passion for dance from the age of 4. Her early years were spent on stage from modelling, performing classical ballet , acting & singing as a chorus member with Illawarra's Arcadian Theatre group. At 16 she flew to Victoria, audition with a Melbourne based contemporary dance ensemble St Martins Youth Arts Centre & performed as a cast member for a period of 3 years. A Victorian state finalist in the national Flash Dance competition, she danced in various Australian Film & Television productions such as Countdown, Carsons Law & The Brisbane Breakie Show. An awarding winning member of the NSW Bellydance community, she earned recognition for her consistent study & teachings over the last decade - Ameras Palace Bellydance Logie 2005. Jacqueline enjoys spending weekends with her loved ones, living by the beach, eating healthy food & enjoys the creative arts, music and travel! Specialises in laybacks, sword balancing & floor work. Performs with props: Tribal Fire - fans, silk fan veils, visual festival wings, skirt dance, tambourine, silk veil, piano shawl, poi twirling & finger cymbals (zills).
