Classes offer basic belly dance & movement in a fun and relaxed environment with a focus on coordination, basic veil technique, poi twirling & working together as a group. Dance styles introduced are from traditional style, Belly Jazz & basic  steps of Tribal Style. Students will be encouraged to learn how to lead & follow.

What to wear ? For class attire, wear dance tights or bike pants & a coin/shimmy hip belt. Juniors are requested to wear one or 2 studio tops. A 'star' singlet ($10) & a Purple dance company T-shirts ($22) details given with regular attendance. Please do not have juniors come to class wearing jeans, zippered pants or school uniforms. These are not ideal for freedom of movement. Thank you.

Performance & costume ? Performance opportunities are for keen & dedicated students, however never forced. Contact Jacqueline to arrange performance costume guidelines & our dressmaker contacts. All junior costumes are streamlined and to be made by our studios designer only please.
