Silk Fan Veils with Jacqueline Peperkamp Jacqueline & Tribal Jewels have enjoyed performing with Silk Fan Veils since 2007. The tricky handling technique required will be clearly explained, whether performing with just the one or a pair. This flowing prop from Asia is simply beautiful & a visual delight for the audience offered the ‘wow factor’! Jacqueline will explain the 5 key points to remember with planning ahead a troupe choreography, solo or an improvisation. Silk Fan Veils compliment most styles of belly dance. Handouts will be given. Bring: Silk Fan Veils – either 1 or a pair, a pen & your water bottle. Shawl (Manton) Dance with Jacqueline Peperkamp Tribal Jewels introduced this dynamic prop & delighted the audience at the Australian Tribal & Trance Festival last year. These large pure silk Shawls are traditionally from Spain. First created for the purpose of covering ‘Grand Pianos’, later of course worn in Womens fashion & by Flamenco Fusion Dancers. This workshop will create an extension to your dance knowledge & stamina, (it’s a good workout!) Jacqueline looks forward to sharing a few of her combos & moves using the Shawl.
